Squire Rank:
A squire is a mortal man or woman that has been found worthy to be a
minion of Myrkul. They enter into the guild with an established
UnDead Lord as mentor whom teaches the squire the dark ways of Myrkul.
Duration:
A squire will serve a period of 2 months before they will be examined
for knighthood. If upon being deemed unfit for knighthood at that time,
both they and their mentor will receive a letter with the reason. A
review will occur the following month on the 15th. If after 3 reviews
the squire has still been deemed unfit for knighthood their services
will no longer be required and they will be summarily dismissed.

A squire shall follow any and all commands set forth by his mentor.
A squire shall always address any Knight as 'M'Lord' or 'M'Lady'.
A squire shall yell "Thank you Myrkul, may I have another!"
when he is hit, pummled, slapped, skinned, castrated, or any other
bodily harm that the mentor may inflict on the squire.
A squire will shout the Squiresong any time a Knight tells them.
A squire will strive to serve all knights of Myrkul.

A squire will adhere to and obey all whims of the knights of Myrkul
with the mentor's permission.
A squire will never attack or kill an officer or knight.
A squire will only use the title "Squire of....." in emails.
Transition to Knight:
If all the rules have been followed, then a meeting of the Inner Circle
will be held. The meeting will determine whether the squire is in fact
worthy of attaining the rank of knight and a guild title. If the
Inner Circle deems the squire is worthy then a rite of death shall
proceed.
During the Rite of Death, the High Priest/Priestess
will recite the passage of Ascension and the squire will avow his faithfulness
to Myrkul. At that time the Arch Lich will prepare the alter, then summon
the squire to him. The squire will then offer his worthless body and soul as a sacrifice to Myrkul. Upon the death of the squire, the High Priest/Priestess will incant the Resurrection spell
and raise the body of the squire, now a knight of Myrkul.
The new knight having selected a guild title/surname
will then be called forth as such by the High Priest/Priestess and then
go forth on a quest to bring Souls to Myrkul's altar in thanks in becoming
an UnDead Lord.
